Abstract
Changes in the facial reactivity of 2-(2', 3', 4', tra-O-acetyl-beta-D -glucopyranosyloxy)benzaldehyde towards (E)-1-methoxy-3-(tert-butyldim ethylsiloxy)buta-1, 3-diene in the presence of lanthanide(fod)(3) comp lexes can be correlated with the ionic radius of the lanthanide metal.
