Dm. See et Re. White, TEMPERATURE AND CONCENTRATION-DEPENDENCE OF THE SPECIFIC CONDUCTIVITYOF CONCENTRATED-SOLUTIONS OF POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 42(6), 1997, pp. 1266-1268
The specific conductivity of concentrated solutions of potassium hydro
xide was measured over a temperature range of -15 to 100 degrees C for
concentrations of 15 to 45 mass %. An empirical correlation relating
temperature, mass % KOH, and specific conductivity was made with a cor
relation coefficient of 0.9995. Using experimental density data from A
kerlof and Bender, the correlation was extended to relate temperature,
molarity, and conductivity.
