Abstract
The reactions of hydroxylamine, hydrazines, thiourea and guanidines wi th ketene dithioacetals are reported. The chemo-and regioselective asp ects of the synthesis of the heterocyclic thiol products are contraste d with recently described processes based on related alkene substrates .
