Abstract
The Baylis-Hillman reaction of camphor-based acrylates has been demons trated to result in the formation of products with high optical purity . A model that explains these results and the use of these products in the formation of anti aldol adducts is discussed. (C) 1997 Elsevier S cience Ltd.
