Abstract
Two new bromopyrrole alkaloids, tauroacidins A (1) and B (2), with tyr osine kinase inhibitory activity have been isolated from an Okinawan m arine sponge Hymeniacidon sp. and the structures were elucidated on th e basis of spectral data and chemical means. Tauroacidins A (1) and B (2) are rare bromopyrrole alkaloids possessing a taurine residue. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
