CONFERENCING ON THE INTERNET

This paper discussed three key requirements for conferencing applicati ons - user or conference location, latency, and scalability. It then l ooks at the IETF and ITU approaches to meeting these requirements. Fin ally a protocol called SUCCESS, which attempts to combine the benefits of both approaches, is outlined.
