Abstract
We present multi-cut Forced Impulse Method (FIM) cross sections for th e double ionization of helium by antiprotons in the energy range 12-10 00 keV/amu. These ab initio theoretical cross sections largely reprodu ce experiments. The necessity of including intermediate dynamic correl ation in the theoretical description is made manifest.
