RED LIST OF THREATENED FUNGI IN NORD-PAS- DE-CALAIS REGION (NORTHERN FRANCE)

The author presents the Red Data List of threatened Fungi in Nord-Pas- de-Calais region (Northern France). This is the first mycological red list in France. After remarks concerning the main concepts in this top ic and operating steps toward the preparation of such a document, the list itself is arranged in two parts. The first one deals with actuall y threatened species, the second with potentially threatened species. Each of these two levels gathers about 22 to 23 % of the regional myco flora, the complete red list dealing with 43,47 % of this mycoflora. T hese rather alarming numbers point toward the importance and emergency for researches trying to explain the demonstrated extinctions or regr essions, especially because, as in other european areas, ectomycorrhiz al species seem to be the most concerned group.
