Abstract
The nuclear superdeformed rotational bands in the A similar to 190 reg ion were systematically analyzed by using the Harris two-parameter for mula and the ab expression. Similar to the situation in normally defor med nuclei, then exists obvious and systematic deviation of the Harris formula from the experiment. In contrast, the prediction of the ab fo rmula is very close to the experiment, and may be conveniently used fo r the description of both normally deformed and superdeformed bands.
