V. Jonauskas et al., AUGER ZONES AND THE EXISTENCE OF 2 GROUPS OF LEVELS FOR COMPLEX CONFIGURATIONS, Journal of physics. B, Atomic molecular and optical physics, 30(21), 1997, pp. 4861-4875
The Auger zones, which characterize the participation of various level
s of initial and final configurations in the Auger transitions between
these configurations, are investigated. The expressions for the shift
of the average energy of the Anger zone with respect to the average e
nergy of the configuration are presented. The large shift of zones is
related to the existence of two groups of levels for complex configura
tions. The concentration of transition rates in the high-energy part f
or some Auger spectra is predicted.
