Abstract
A new method of analysing temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) prof iles is suggested, Taking into account desorption curves of different heating rates it is shown that the desorption energy distribution func tion can be calculated by using an extended integral equation without any limiting assumptions about the distribution function and the preex ponential factor. The method is demonstrated with simulated data and t ested for TPD of different molecules on zeolites. (C) 1997 Academic Pr ess.
