We apply the de Broglie-Bohm interpretation to the Wheeler-DeWitt equa
tion for the quantum FRW cosmological model with a minimal massless sc
alar field. We find that the quantum FRW cosmological model has quantu
m potential dominated solutions that avoid the initial and the final c
osmological singularities. It is suggested that the quantum potential
and the back-reaction of geometry and matter fields may change the pro
perty of the cosmological singularities of the universe. (C) 1997 Else
