K. Chah et al., INFLUENCE OF INTRINSIC AND EXTRINSIC DEFECTS ON THE ELECTROOPTIC PROPERTIES OF LITHIUM-NIOBATE, Ferroelectrics, 202(1-4), 1997, pp. 11-19
We present measurements of the electrooptic coefficient r(c) in Lithiu
m Niobate crystals for two sets of samples, pure crystals with differe
nt compositions and doped crystals grown from lithium rich melt with d
ifferent concentrations of Cr doping. Results show that the electroopt
ic properties depend stronger on the extrinsic defects than on the int
rinsic defects.
