Abstract
An experimental study of both transient and steady state bi-dimensiona l photorefractive bright spatial solitons in Bi12TiO20 is presented. T he results are compared to previous theoretical work, showing qualitat ive agreement concerning both the transient and the steady soliton wid ths.
