Algorithms have been obtained to isolate clusters and determine percol
ation in irregular heterogeneous structures. These algorithms are quit
e useful for the solution of problems concerned with the formation of
microstructure of ferroceramics in the process of its manufacturing. T
he computer simulation has indicated that the microstructure of ferroc
eramic materials cannot be adequately described by the traditional mic
rostructural parameters only, and percolational parameters should be i
nvoked for this purpose.
