Abstract
The relaxation of a.c. conductivity and shear modulus of KLiSO4 in a r egion of their thermal hysteresis near the ferroelastic phase transiti on at 438 degrees C has been studied. The nature of metastable states in a vicinity of phase transition is supposed to be the interaction be tween interphase boundaries and mobile point defects.
