Ls. Kokhanchik et Eb. Yakimov, INFLUENCE OF A SUBSURFACE LAYER ON SURFACE PYROELECTRIC POTENTIAL FORMATION IN LITHIUM-NIOBATE, Ferroelectrics, 201(1-4), 1997, pp. 175-183
Temperature dependence of secondary electron emission from the polar s
urfaces of single and polydomain LiNbO3 samples has been investigated.
It has been shown that the signal from the single domain samples is m
ainly determined by the surface potential arising due to the pyroelect
ric effect and influencing the primary electron effective energy, wher
eas the emission from polydomain samples is mainly determined by the e
lectric fields in subsurface layers and by their influence on the seco
ndary electron yield.
