Abstract
In a recent photoemission study on the quasi-one-dimensional Peierls s ystem (TaSe4)(2)I Terrasi et al. [Phys. Rev. B 52, 5592 (1995)] report , that two (rather than one) anticyclic dispersing conduction bands ex ist in this material, each of them observable for a different Light po larization relative to the direction of the conducting axis and each d isplaying a periodicity consistent with the charge-density wave vector . Our own angle-resolved photoemission data do not confirm these obser vations.
