PEPLAUS THEORY IN PRACTICE

Peplau's theory of interpersonal relations provides a useful framework for investigating clinical phenomena and guiding nurse's actions. The author describes clinical application of selected concepts from Pepla u's theory which supports this assumption. While the case data are enc ouraging, it is suggested that there is a need to test the clinical ef fectiveness of Peplau's concepts by utilizing experimental research de signs.
