Abstract
An extract of whole plants of Achillea santolina afforded a new guaian olide and a new germacranolide in addition to two known guaianolides a nd three flavonoids. Structures were elucidated by spectroscopic metho ds, and the structure of the germacranolide was confirmed by a single crystal X-ray analysis. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
