Abstract
In order to usher positive social change and reform, social work needs to first understand the dynamics of rapid social change and then init iate various measures for constructive change. Social development shou ld aim to benefit as many people as possible and not just the privileg ed few. This paper suggests different approaches which can be adopted by professional social workers to bring about community betterment.
