Abstract
The case of an asymptomatic pseudocoarctation of the abdominal aorta i s reported. Pronounced kinking of the abdominal aorta was seen on angi ograms, without stenosis or collateral circulation. Angiography reveal ed normal renal arteries originating from the malformated aortal segme nt. The possible etiology and the need for therapeutical intervention are discussed.
