REGIONALLY REPRESENTATIVE OZONE MONITORING AT CAPE-ARKONA

Long Path Different Optical Absorption measurements of the concentrati ons of O-3, NO2, NO3 and SO2 were carried out at Cape Arkona, Island R ugen, near the well-known long-term ozone registration. A statistical analysis of different trace gas concentrations for all seasons is pres ented. Daytime data, wind speed and sector-classified results are used to estimate representative ozone concentrations. Comparison of the lo ng path ozone measurements with point measurements at Cape Arkona show s ozone concentration differences.
