Abstract
A field experiment conducted with 'Lok 1' wheat (Triticum aestivum L. emend. Fiori & Paol.) during winter (rabi) season 1990-91 to 1992-93 i ndicated that cross-sowing (22.5 cm x 22.5 cm) gave higher yield with mom monetary return than line sowing 22.5 cm apart and broadcast servi ng. Three irrigations applied Bt crow-root initiation, jointing and mi lk stages proved superior to 2 irrigations given at crown-root initiat ion and flowering stages in respect of yields. A fertilizer dose of 80 , 40 and 20 kg N, P and K/ha resulted in higher production.
