Abstract
In the solid state, trichloro(4-acetoxybutyl)tin is a centrosymmetric dimer in which the tin shows a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry . Two molecules are linked through coordination bonds between the meta l and the carbonyl oxygen of the ester group.
