Abstract
The effect of ohmic loss decrease in corrugated waveguide is studied f or the case of period, equal to half of longitudinal wave length (so c alled pi-type oscillations). As demonstrated, in periodical guide ther e are pi-type waves with ohmic quality growing approximatelly as a cub e of guide radius, which looks very attractive for different applicati ons.
