Abstract
This report describes the ligation of the thoracic duct in a Schnauzer with chylothorax. After injection of methylenblue into the Ln. poplit eus it was easy to identify the thoracic duct. For the relaxation of t he muscles, a drug with medium reacting time (Vecuronium) was selected .
