Abstract
Pain in hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy (HPOA) due to periosti tis and arthropathy can be a particularly disabling symptom, and resis tant to a wide variety of treatments. The effectiveness of subcutaneou s octreotide in relieving this pain in a patient with HPOA is reported .
