Abstract
A threemonostatic acoustic sounder has been operating in Tarragona, Ca talonia, Spain, since September 1991. Doppler-sodar (Sonic Detection & Ranging) observation data covering 3 years (1991-1993) are used to co mpute the occurrence probability of the various types of thermic sodar structures. Likewise, with the three components of the wind vector gi ven by the sodar, a detailed study of the sea breeze structure has bee n completed and occurrence probability is computed.
