Abstract
The biotransformation of aryltetralin lignans to arylnaphthalene ligna ns in presence of yeast is described. Podophyllotoxone, an oxidation p roduct of podophyllotoxin on incubation with yeast from different sour ces produced dehydropodophyllotoxin, an important representative of ar ylnaphthalene lignans.
