Abstract
Hetero-oligomeric PNAs consisting of new monomeric building blocks and various amounts of N-(2-aminoethyl) glycine have been synthesized by solid-phase chemistry. Some of these new compounds show stronger bindi ng to complementary DNA than the original PNAs, and are consequently v ery interesting candidates as antisense compounds for applications in therapy and in diagnostics.
