Abstract
In the text, a comprehensive differential diagnosis is given for the v arious (i) congenital and developmental, and (ii) acquired (whether pa thological e.g. due to inflammation, tumour or trauma, or surgical int ervention e.g. trephining) lesions which produce holes in the skull.
