D. Ghosh et al., EVIDENCE OF INTRAGROUP AND INTERGROUP AZIMUTHAL CORRELATIONS IN NUCLEAR-INTERACTIONS AT A FEW GEV C/, Modern physics letters A, 9(7), 1994, pp. 591-598
The paper presents new data on azimuthal correlations in angles betwee
n different types of secondary charged particles emitted in inelastic
interactions between Mg-24 nuclei with the AgBr nuclei of nuclear emul
sion. Azimuthal correlations are observed in some cases of intergroup
correlations, and an asymmetry is found to exist in the emission of th
e same type of particles. The present data is compared in some cases,
with those of p-emulsion, d-emulsion, alpha-emulsion and C-12-emulsion
interactions at 4.5 A GeV/c and Kr-84-emulsion interaction at 1.4 A G
eV.
