Abstract
The Liouville integrability of a system of N repelling particles in R( n), for a large class of potentials, is obtained by showing that the a symptotic velocities are smooth first integrals, independent, and in i nvolution. A new proof for the existence of the asymptotic velocities is also presented. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
