This paper presents a theoretical study of the micellization of macros
urfactants, tailored by attaching a soluble long polymer chain to an i
nsoluble solid bead. I show that the porous structure of the micelle c
ore leads to a new micellization scenario and provides simple geometri
c rules for determining the aggregate properties. The results are disc
ussed within the context of the micellization of diblock copolymers in
a selective solvent.
