Abstract
Most recombinant human (rh) proteins elicit an immune response in expe rimental animals. Antibodies are usually detected within 1 to 2 weeks of protein administration. The immunogenicity of rh proteins is an imp ortant aspect for both experimental and clinical investigations. The f ormation of neutralizing antibodies-as shown here for rhIL-3-reduced t he absolute bioavailability of the protein in Rhesus monkeys. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
