Abstract
Bacterial meningitis is an unusual complication of bone marrow transpl antation. We report a case of Stomatococcus mucilaginosus meningitis i n a patient with multiple myeloma shortly after an autologous peripher al blood stem cell transplant. The infection resolved with a combinati on of intravenous penicillin G and chloramphenicol, and intrathecal va ncomycin.
