Sn. Kane et al., EFFECT OF QUENCHING RATE ON SPIN TEXTURE IN AMORPHOUS FE73.5CU1NB3SI13.5B9, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 167(3), 1997, pp. 241-244
X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy have been used to study t
he structural changes in amorphous Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 as a function
of quenching rate from the melt. Variation in quenching rates influenc
es mainly the quenched-in free volume and the internal stresses, which
in turn affects the spin texture and the magnetic properties of the r
ibbons.
