Abstract
A new chemoselective procedure for the reductive transformation of org anic azides to the corresponding N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl) amino derivat ives using triethylsilane and di-tert-butyl dicarbonate in the presenc e of a catalytic amount of 20% Degussa Pd(OH)(2)/C is described.
