T. Pelachova et K. Kovacova, THE MORPHOLOGY AND THE CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC ORIENTATION OF PHASES IN THE MODIFIED GAMMA-GAMMA'-ALPHA EUTECTIC COMPOSITE, Kovove materialy, 31(6), 1993, pp. 554-563
The morphology and the mutual crystallographic orientation of the coex
isting phases was studied in the Ni-based gamma/gamma' - alpha eutecti
c composite. The methods of optic metallography, electron microanalysi
s and TEM were used. Gamma/gamma' - alpha composite was modified by th
e additions: Zr, Re, V and CC. The most effect on the morphology had Z
r. In these alloys the oriented morphology was found at the high value
of the stabilization factor, G : : R greater-than-or-equal-to 1.08 X
10(-2) K.S. mum-2. In alloys with Re and V the coupled growth of the c
oexisting phases was found for the values G : R greater-than-or-equal-
to 0.27 x 10(-2) K. S.mum-2. Zirconium is soluted in alpha-Mo fibre.
