Abstract
The mass fragmentation pattern of the antitumor antibiotic staurospori ne (1), a potent PKC inhibitor, has been studied by HREIMS and by usin g deuterium-labeled samples of 1, derived from incorporation experimen ts with [6-H-2(2)]-D-glucose, [2-H-2]-D-glucose, [U-H-2(2)]-D-glucose, and deuterium oxide.
