Abstract
Optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and analyt ical transmission electron microscopy (AEM) were used to characterise anocid films on aluminium. Of special interest in our investigations w as to study the dependence of the microstructure of the films on the c urrent density at sample-preparing. The results show that the size of the pores increases with increasing current density.
