In the second part of this paper a normal procedure in dealing with co
mplete chemical processes will be examined more closely in its single
stages. It will be evident that the procedure and the instruments for
process development as well as for process revision are formally very
similar respectively identical in many stages but they differ signific
antly in their focal points and meaningfulness. It will be especially
evident in looking at the background of knowledge and experience of th
e person responsible in charge. Process development and process revisi
on are largely working with identical tools, instruments and methods a
nd they are showing similar structures in proceeding, but there are st
ill significant differences identifiable in both cases. Nevertheless t
he common theme is just the same: a chemical process being functional,
safe and economic.
