Abstract
The female of Acanthocyclops brevispinosus (Herrick, 1884) is redescri bed. The male is described for the first time. The male exhibits sexua l dimorphism in the habitus, antennule, leg 4 intercoxal plate and end opod, and leg 6. Morphological characters are compared with findings f rom the literature. The taxonomy of A. brevispinosus is discussed.
