Abstract
Bioassay-directed separation of an ethanolic extract of the roots of T ripterygium wilfordii furnished two new 19(4-->3)-abeo-abietanes, trip tinin A and B, along with two known diterpenes, triptoquinone A nd 11- hydroxy-14-methoxy-19(4-->3)-abeo-abieta-3, 8, 11, 13-tetraen-19-oic a cid, as leukotriene D-4 antagonist constituents. The structures of the se diterpenes were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Copyright (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
