Abstract
From the tubers of Pleione bulbocodioides, two novel bibenzyl glucosid es, together with their known aglycones, batatasin III and 3'-O-methyl batatasin III, were isolated. The new glycosides were droxy-5-methoxyb ibenzyl-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and 3',5-dimethoxybibenzyl-3-O-beta -D-glucopyranoside on the basis of their spectroscopic data.
