A. Zararsiz, K-BETA K-ALPHA X-RAY-INTENSITY RATIO IN THE REGION OF -LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-Z-LESS-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO-22/, Journal of radioanalytical and nuclear chemistry, 185(1), 1994, pp. 193-197
The X-ray intensity ratio K-beta/K-alpha,has been measured by using a
10 mCi Fe-55 source (Mn K X-rays) and high resolution Si(Li)detector s
ystem coupled to a computer-controlled multichannel analyzer over the
range of 15 less than or equal to Z less than or equal to 22. Correcti
ons have been made to the measured relative intensities (K-alpha and K
-beta X-rays) for self-absorption in the sample, air, Be-window absorp
tion and detection efficiency. The results are compared with those of
other experiments and with the Scofield calculations.
