Abstract
Four unsaturated 1,8-naphthalimide derivatives, which are fluorescent brightening agents, were synthesised. Their properties, Cielab colour coordinates, bleaching effect on polyamide fabrics and their ability t o copolymerise with styrene have been determined. (C) 1997 Elsevier Sc ience Ltd.
