Abstract
The high resolution Fourier transform spectrum of arsine (AsH3) has be en recorded in the region 3989-4274 cm(-1) at a resolution of 0.008 cm (-1). About 1000 transitions are assigned to transitions of 2v(1) (A(1 )) and v(1) + v(3) (E) vibrational bands. The vibration-rotation param eters of this overtone are obtained and discussed in the local mode mo del. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
