Abstract
The FT-IR and Raman spectra of pure and partially deuterated Na-3[Au(S 2O3)(2)]. 2H(2)O, the inorganic drug Sanocrysin, have been recorded an d assigned on the basis of its known crystal structure. Internal vibra tions of the thiosulfate ligands, and internal as well as librational modes of the water molecules are discussed in detail. Also, the Au-S s tretchings have been clearly identified.
